Why I like it: A lovely idea, and a lovely execution. An interesting way to tell a story about something fairly simple. The visual hooks you (zoom into it, the sun is hitch hiking, get it?), the tagline pays it off, and the benefit is linked credibly to the car, which looks quite nice, by the way. Very nicely done. Now, if we’re honest, this is done in the classical “scam ad” style…but I’m going to leave my cynicism aside today and hope that this ran as part of a massive campaign all over Australia. That being the case, “good on you” to the folks at Arnold in Sydney!
